This is a bonsai formed from two privet (Ligustrum ovalifolium) trees, both strong growers. These trees are semi-deciduous, meaning they may drop some leaves when the weather gets cold enough. They can remain outdoors year-round and are great for beginners due to their hardiness. They are planted in a nice oval Chinese bonsai pot with a quality bonsai soil mix. They love water but tolerate some drying out between waterings; however, do not leave them dry for more than a day or two.
